So wanna pick peeps brains about dig tablet..

Seeing lots of mixed shyt about the Adesso Cybertablet - but tempted to try it for the price.....

Adesso 10x6.25 = $130.
Wacom Bamboo 8.5x5.3 = $200.
Wacom Graphire 6x8.2 = $249.

Know i cant go wrong with Wacom..., but am loathe to spend 200+, if the Adesso is good enough....

Not sure how often i will actually use it in long run, altho there is a job i DEF will use it on coming up..., but i DO do photography also, and mite start using it for that somehow......

Wot say thou ....?

Been using a Wacom since 1994, on my 3rd tablet, time to upgrade soon to the latest & greatest.

Spend the money, you won't be disappointed.

      I have an Intuos 3.
      No complaints whatsoever,
      and I'm a double Virgo.

      Just saying...

I don't have one; don't know what it'd be used for if I do only photography have no complaints other than our species insistence on screwing everything up and I'm an Aquarius.

But I like gadgets so maybe I have to get one.

        Just sayin'

          Hawkeye,
you may know I do nude photography and photo manipulations as well as metal art.
Here's a good example of using the Wacom light tablet to embellish my models head of hair (underwater).

But the most use I get from it is for site specific decorative arts designs(proposed metalwork).
I shoot the clients site, then using the tablet, sketch over the photo what my fabrication will look like in situ.

That's good that you brought that up Stef,
because that actually is my only critique of my pad.
It's only 4.5 x 5.5 and sometimes as I'm drawing with the light pencil on the pad ,my eyes are on my monitor screen and I sometimes go off the edge with the drawing.
In short I wish I had a bigger pad, with the same functions...
